Just going to come out and say it, I believe this brand is Kara’s brand. Yes the symbol represents Boruto’s name which is a “bolt” which was also inspired by Neji’s name which mean’s “screw.” However, the place he got it from leads me to believe it was straight up a Kara brand lol.
For one, it is confirmed Boruto bought this from a clothing store WITH a specific brand. An expensive brand because it was meant for Boruto to contrast Naruto with his tracksuit he wore. The reason why I believe this is Kara’s brand is because Kawaki AND Jigen wear the same brand lol. Boruto’s like a bolt shape, while Kawaki and Jigen wore like something along the lines of a nail? See the relationship there? Screw…Bolt…nail?
Now this isn’t me saying Neji is symbolically related to Kawaki. Boruto and Kawaki are kinda linked together like brothers symbolically through these symbols cause they relate to each other. Jigen wearing the symbol to me is what confirms the fact it is the same branding and it’s Kara’s special catalog lol.
Whats fascinating about this is the fact Kara’s influence spreads so far and wide that it’s imbedded into society so naturally yet it also brings forth a scary underlying tone that those in the shadows have more control and influence then we are capable of even noticing. Maybe I’m just looking into it way too deeply, but I feel it’s a cool concept for the story.
Sarada also decided to wear clothing from the same “brand” yet we don’t see the symbol on her clothing. I think thats fair since it’s meant to show her Uchiha parallels though. But I wanted to point this out because it is mentioned that this is a specific clothing brand.
Kara said they had enough money to buy a country, and I just like to think that this is one of the ways they got that kinda money. It’s something people don’t bring up all that much and I thought it would be fun to dive in a little. Also I’m fully aware that Kara wasn’t a thing when the Boruto movie came out and Boruto was already wearing the brand clothing. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t change over time. Like how Kawaki’s face symbol changed over time, from the number “one” to he number “nine” which has significant meaning and symbolism towards his character. So yeah… Thoughts?
