Been thinking about why Deamon see’s something in Himawari and not Boruto. Looking back they have the same biology and everything, so what could she possibly have that he doesn’t? And than it hit me, she has the byakugan. Bouto has only awakened the Byakugan through Momoshiki’s transformation, but he hasn’t shown any signs of awakening it on his own. And as we are all starting to see more of, the anime has been proven to foreshadow things that has happened in the manga. For example Boruto’s scar and Garaga’s story is similar.
Remember when Boruto first started noticing the Jougan? He was telling everyone it was he byakugan and they actually had the hyuga check him out to see if he actually awakened it? This is possibly telling us its something he can’t do and isn’t planned. And it’s not planned cause it’s meant for Himawari to flesh out further.
Both Boruto and Himawari are the closest to Kaguya in terms of genes and chakra, but only Himawari can awaken the byakugan. Im assuming she it’s her special chakra plus her eyes that separates her from Boruto and Daemon might sense her chakra synchronizing with her eyes. It might not be a Tenseigan, but it also might become a Tenseigan we could never know. But this is the major difference between the two.
This is usually the part where people stop but ima go even further. Humara and Toneri awakened the Tenseigan with the chakra and genetics that they have. So obviously Toneri would conclude that it requires a Hyuga eye and an otsutsuki body, but what if thats not completely the case? The Hamura and Toneri both never had access to the other side of their mother’s genetics. Himawari however DOES have this access PLUS a byakugan from the hyuga. So she might even go a step further then Toneri did with the Tenseigan. What do you think?
