Truth be told, TBV Manga chapter 22 was captivating, engaging, and most importantly thought-provoking. There are a lot of talking points in this chapter but I’ll like to dwell on one particular occurrence. One that caused immense shock amongst the readers.
We all saw Boruto hit Jura with the Rasengan Uzuhiko. However, the leader of the Aware Shinjus, not too long after understanding it’s effects and mechanisms, simply nullified it. The big question here is how did he do it? Well, the key lies in the origins of the Rasengan. So let’s go back roughly four decades in the past when a 15yr old Minato Namikaze invented the Rasengan.
According to Jura, Uzuhiko shares some mechanical similarities with the TBB. He’s indeed not wrong as Minato carefully observed the TBB and based the Rasengan from off it. But what are the mechanisms these techniques share?
Similarly, both the Rasengan and TBB involve the manipulation of chakra into a spiraling/spherical form, with the Rasengan’s chakra rotation acting as a substitute for the Tailed Beast form in the TBB.
Back in Shippuden, Gyuki explained that the Tailed beasts create TBBs by balancing positive black chakra and negative white chakra at a ratio of 8:2. Thus, The TBB’s chakra is formed from positive and negative chakras, while the Rasengan is formed by spinning chakra in a circular motion. But that’s not the only explanation as to why Jura was able to nullify the effects of the Uzuhiko.
The Uzuhiko itself is a Rasengan that employs to devastating effects, the Earth’s Rotational kinetic Energy together with other corresponding forces which includes gravitational force, Coriolis effect, contact and non-contact forces. Once activated, Boruto becomes one with the Earth and exerts immense planetary influence through his Rasengan.
Upon getting hit by this technique, all these forces combined are transferred to the victim thereby inducing Vertigo and ridding them of all neural coordination.
Furthermore, i hypothesize that Uzuhiko completely disrupts the Chakra Circulatory Network/Chakra Pathway System by sending flowing chakra into a rotational spiraling frenzy. This explains Boruto’s words in TBV chapter 3 as the vertigo won’t go away as long as the earth continues to rotate.
Moreover, rescinding or nullifying this Vertigo requires good knowledge of how a TBB is formed. And so, in similar manner to how genjutsu is dispelled, and how Boruto rescinded the Uzuhiko on Code, i theorize that one must employ top level chakra control by re-enforcing a chakra ratio balance in their CCN/CPS. This reinforcement could be done by either balancing or expelling the earth’s rotational energy in and around you, or spinning/rotating your chakra in the opposite direction of the Earth’s Rotation thereby causing systemic balance.
It’d be interesting to see how this is explained in the coming chapters.
