OKAY SO BOOM we know that omnipotence is a divine ability from Shibai which allows the wielders desires to become real to some extent. we see in this in the form of both Eida’s desires and Kawaki’s desires. Its a no brainer of Eida’s showcase since it happens in 90% of Eida’s screentime but for Kawaki’s case its the plot of Two Blue Vortex of his desires to make Boruto a rogue ninja in order to make it easier to kill him. In case anyone does need an explanation for Eida, her omnipotence makes everyone enchanted by her presence and allows her to make anyone fall in-love with her at first glance.
HOW IS THIS RELEVANT???
Well this is relevant due to the fact that in order to understand the way Sarada and Sumire are immune to the ability we need to understand how the ability works and its users. Now that we know we can move on. we also know that Omnipotence can affect anyone whose directly related to her or any Otsutsuki. This is also shown near the final chapters of Naruto Next Generations. the list of people not affected are
- Boruto
- Kawaki
- Daemon
- Sarada
- Sumire
Now you may be thinking, what does Sarada and Sumire come into this? well in chapter 25 of TBV we see that Sarada finally admits her feelings about Boruto and during CH 16, we see Sumire already have feelings and by the end of CH 25, Sarada and Sumire are both in agreement they have feelings for Boruto.
What does that have to do with Omnipotence??
Well remember when i talked about eida’s charm? it enchants everyone in her presence that makes them fall in love? this is because Eida’s desires are to find someone to love outside her charm as even herself states that she hates the charm because she doesnt know whos feelings are real and who’s arent, but back to the point. I believe it is possible if you replicate this desire towards someone is immune, that immunity will carry over towards that person. It makes too much of a coincidence how the only two people who aren’t affected. have feelings for an otsutsuki and hence why someone who would also have love for boruto like HImawari is affected because she doesnt love boruto romantically but more of a sibling way (being that’s her actual brother) which is why she is affected but not sarada and sumire.
