Orochimaru’s curse marks and magatama earrings symbolize his reverence for godlike forces, much like Christians wear crosses. Through them, he shows his belief in and connection to divine, Ōtsutsuki-level power.
Orochimaru to Log and Mitsuki – “It was never my intention to imitate the Gods, I am simply obeying the will they bestowed upon me”
This suggests that Mitsuki’s existence isn’t just the result of experiments; it’s guided by a divine mandate. The “will” Orochimaru speaks of could be the same godlike power Mitsuki is destined to awaken.
Mitsuki’s pale skin, oversized clothing, and horns subtly mirror the Sage of Six Paths and the Ōtsutsuki, hinting at a deeper, divine-level connection.
Like Kashin Koji, Mitsuki is an artificial creation with Sage Mode, designed to help or protect Boruto. Their existence points to a deliberate design linking them to Boruto’s journey.
Orochimaru’s obsession with knowledge and mastery of all jutsu fits perfectly into this theme. Omniscience—the state of knowing everything—is reflected in Mitsuki’s calm, observant nature and how much he understands.
Koji = Prescience.
Mitsuki = Omniscience.
Mitsuki’s role as the “moon” to Boruto’s “sun” reflects a cosmic balance, similar to the harmony embodied by the Sage of Six Paths. This balance could even be what Eida wants to discuss with Boruto.
Isshiki to Koji Kashin – “ All genes , all people have a pre destined fate”
because Mitsuki is artificially created, his genes could carry fragments of legendary bloodlines—from White Zetsu to Hashirama and beyond. If fate is written in genes, Mitsuki’s destiny may be far greater than anyone realizes.
